Kate Winslet claimed she felt ‘fat and unhappy’ next to other Hollywood stars.

And just weeks later she waxed lyrical about the make-up artists and lighting experts who ensure her blemishes are ‘fabulously covered’ on screen.

The star has also been airbrushed in a series of magazine shoots despite the furore following her heavily altered appearance in GQ in 2003.

But now Kate Winslet, who has made no secret of the fact she was nicknamed ‘Blubber’ at school, claims to ask movie poster designers to make her look less perfect.
